I’ve been hankering to make fleece poncho’s since I saw Rae’s poncho for her little girl last winter. (Notice how I am using her first name and
I think Rae’s version with the turtle neck and in-seam pockets is rondonkulously cute, but Gianna insisted on the heart pockets (of course), the zipper (ugh!), and a hood (sure, child).
For Gianna, I made a size “S” and scaled down the size “XS” to fit Gladys. Either I was overestimating the girl’s sizes, or this pattern runs a little big which left them looking like great blobs of blanket until I added some arm openings in the side seams. yay! Project saved!
So, nice of the weather to warm up a bit and be perfect poncho wearing weather.
