OUR WINTER WEDDING!!! - Eat Dessert First

To get into my mom’s neighborhood you have to go down a very steep hill and then up our very

steep driveway. This was not possible to drive on. Instead, my dad and I had to park about half a mile away from our house and slip and slide all the way home. My mom met us half way to help. To get up our driveway we had to get on our hands and knees and inch our way up!! My dad had to throw down a long extension cord to wrap around my suitcase and pull it up the driveway! The whole time our neighbors were laughing and cheering us on!

Once we got into the house we weren’t able to leave for another 2 days… By this point we only had 4 days till the wedding. Needless to say, we got everything done, the ice melted in time but left the snow :), Jonny made it to Fort Worth eventually (he was on a bachelor party road trip from LA to Fort Worth), and now we are happily married with our cat and new puppy! But pics of the new pup will come in a later post. For now, let me show you some of the amazing shots we got from the wedding. Most of these are shot by our dear friends Shaun and Skyla Walton (breathtaking wedding photographers based in Santa Barbara). Others were fun iPhone shots from friends and family. Enjoy!
