Did you know Lunenburg is the home of the Bluenose, which appears on the Canadian 10¢ piece? Plus, its UNESCO World Heritage Site! There are so many fabulous things to see and do! Just taking in some of the deep history of the town, stunning architecture, the amazing restaurants and shops, and of course the beautiful ships and seafood (yumm!)
Since picking up a few tidbits from the shore, and taking our little day trip I’ve been feeling quite nautical, and inspired to create. Have it be that nautical decor is haut, haut, haut right now I thought I may as well jump on board. I love wreath making so I though some new door decor was in order. Have a look-
I used my new Silhouette to stencil the ‘Welcome Aboard’ onto the driftwood.
I used 100% May Arts Ribbon to create this nautical decor
If you’re ever in Nova Scotia I encourage you to visit Lunenburg (and me of course). The sights are stunning, the air is crisp, and plus you get to tour boats and touch fish and swim in the ocean, FUN times ahead!
