As you know, Rob and I are getting married in 2 weeks and I will soon move into the rental which will be our first home together. My Stitch Fix review posts will resume after the wedding and the scenery will change and I try to determine the perfect location in our condo to set my mirror and pose for photos. At this moment, I have no idea where that will be, but let’s enjoy this fix and we can both wait in suspense to discover what images the future holds.

The pieces included in my May Stitch Fix were as gorgeous as ever and total eye candy. I was pleased to find a selection of blouses as well as a casual gray jacket.
The first item I reached for was the red Judy Split Neck Blouse from Daniel Rainn ($68). I don’t often gravitate toward red and wasn’t really sure what to think of this when I first tried it on, but (no surprise) it was stunning!
I had requested that Layla try to find sleeveless blouses with smaller arm holes (since many of my current blouses have bigger armholes than I would like). This blouse honored my request and the cut of it somehow made my arms (which haven’t come anywhere near a free weight in months) seem not quite so out of shape. I paired the blouse with a pair of Kensie skinny jeans from my 4th fix, some gold sandals, and the Charlene K Gold Circle Necklace that came in my Rocksbox.
The next item I tried on was the Flynn Colorblock Sleeveless Blouse from 41Hawthorn ($54). I kept on the gold sandals and skinnies while I swapped blouses.
The cut was perfect and I loved the color block detail around the neckline. Unfortunately, I am not drawn to jewel tones. The occasional red blouse is one thing, but I especially don’t like wearing cool colors in darker shades during the summer. Sadly, this blouse was going back. It was absolutely gorgeous, just not quite my style.
The third item I tried on was the McAdams Beeded Neckline Blouse from 41Hawthorn ($58). I’m sure people wonder all the time about my closet. The truth is, it’s filled with beautiful blouses from Stitch Fix, several colors and styles of cardigans and a few pair of tried-and-true pant options. I love to supplement gorgeous statement pieces with simple basic items that go with everything -- including these skinny jeans and gold sandals. I kept those pieces on while I tried on the off-white blouse.
No surprise, the blouse fit perfectly and looked great! The rustic colors of the beading lent themselves to dressing down the blouse with some casual capri pants. Fortunately, an olive green pair from Level 99 arrived in my previous fix. The cropped pants looked exceptional with the blouse and will be a great outfit to wear during my last week of school in addition to some family picnics later this summer.
Layla also included a gray Chaplin Hooded Anorak Cargo Jacket from Market & Spruce ($88) in my fix this month.
I wasn’t quite sure what to think of the jacket, so I tried it on to complete the casual ensemble, then set it on my bed to ponder while I reached for the one remaining item in my fix: the Vivienne Split Neck Blouse from Daniel Rainn ($68).
Initially, I styled the blouse with jeans and a white cardigan.
The sleeveless blouse also looked soft and feminine on its own without any type of sweater.
As a final touch, I added the Chaplin Hooded Anorak Cargo Jacket from Market & Spruce ($88) to the ensemble and was hooked.
The icing on the cake was pairing this outfit with my Ballerina Pink Tieks. If you’ve been thinking about getting a pair of Tieks for yourself, you should take a look at my detailed review in this post.
You might have guessed that I decided to keep the jacket!
